Downgrade or at most lateral move. Poor move for Zek.
Rhode Island finished next to last in the A-10 (9-22, 5-13). Only Loyola was worse.

I wish he had stayed because I saw a lot of promise in him. He was getting better in all aspects of his game. I knew his leaving had nothing to do with him getting closer to home.Good luck to him.
This looks from the outside like a huge mistake. He leaves a team on the brink of the NCAA tournament, and the possibility of a starring role. To at best a starring role on a bad team. Probably got out there and realized the grass really wasn't greener, and the door had already locked behind him.

He listened to the wrong people. Too many unscrupulous agents out there right now. He will not be on a stage where he will get noticed. Bradley will be on a better stage. Better team, competing for the conference title, possibly NCAA

Everyone with a brain knew this would happen when the rule changes happened. Either the NCAA are truly idiots or they just don't care at all.

Plus these agents should not be tampering with the players. If the NCAA does not correct the situation then the college coach maybe should ask himself," If John Gotti was the coach what would he do if these agents tampered with his players.

I think Demarion Burch will make everyone forget about Zek Montgomery

Wonder where HOTB lands in the budget range. I'd heard (not sure on the accuracy) what the players got last year. I wonder if that pot has grown or stayed the same.
