Bradley gets commitment from Almar Atlason

Maybe my eyes are going bad with old age but I'd bet money Almar weighs more than the 212 lbs listed in the PJS....his legs are too big....:-o:wink:

You know what immediately struck me about those video clips? The lack of physical contact between players. Not a criticism - just an observation. I hope he can make the transition to American college ball. It's a contact sport.

Am I the only one who looks at his highlights and thinks Luuk van Bree?

That is what I said when I first posted about him-

New name...

2023 Almar Atlason- 18-year old 6'9" forward, originally from Iceland, and now playing at Sunrise Christian Academy, near Wichita, Kansas.
He has played for the Iceland National Team, and for a couple pro teams, KR Reykjavik in the Iceland pro league, and for an Italian Serie B team. He put up impressive numbers playing for the Iceland National team.
His videos remind me a little of Luuk va Bree, but appears stronger for an 18-year old.

Idk he seems to have much better play making ability than van Bree… we will see if it translates to tougher competition. I don’t remember luk putting the ball on the deck much to get the bucket or facilitate a play for others.

I thought the same thing. He has some nice moves.

Has anyone seen Icelandic names? Snell and other pbp guys are probably grateful "Atlason" isn't one of those.
