3 MVC games Friday, Dec. 22

Tucker DeVries only took 2 shots in the overtime. Both were from three, and he was 0-2 from three.
He did not get a shot in the final minute when Drake went 0-3 and sealed the win for UAB. DeVries was 8-19 for the game, but just 3-11 from three. He is now shooting 30.7% from three on the season, his lowest percentage of his career. His overall shooting percentage and free throw percentage are also down this season.

mention of "shoulder issues" when he sat out the last game, and last night he had his right shoulder taped but wore the blue t-shirt
so it wasn't real obvious. Hopefully it is not a nagging labrum issue.
Several great shooters in the MVC became average shooters the subsequent couple seasons, after they had torn labrums, ISU's Keyshawn Evans, Nate Funk, Milton Doyle (3pt% went from 42.0% to 31.6%), Grant Gibbs, Cooper Kaifes (3p% went from 46.5% to 31.3%), Ron Baker (NBA 3pt% went from 33.3% to less than 10%- it ended his NBA career).
