Somebody should hire him. He’d be a great choice for someone. Either Mo State or SIU would be potential landing spots.

I think McCollum lands at Mo State. After Schertz having success moving up they'll follow suit. And I think he would do well honestly. I would have preferred to see Dana Ford stay though....:lol:

My main concern would be that MO State just announces a new president on March 4. Will there be an AD change-what all will new pres want re athletics etc. former northwest Mo pres was a candidate for Mo State pres but did not get job.
Do not many D1 programs hire coaches from D2?
I know that is at the D2 level but that is quite impressive.

Former All-American guard at Oklahoma and current NBA/Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is pushing for Missouri State to hire his former AAU coach Rodney Perry. Perry was a head coach at MOKAN AAU program when Young played for them, and is currently an assistant at Kansas State. Missouri State beat writer Wyatt Wheeler has mentioned Perry as a possible candidate, but there has been no official word from Missouri State who they are considering.

Rodney Perry, who played at and graduated from Missouri State, was a candidate mentioned last time around but they went with Dana Ford instead. He also had a short coaching stopover at WIU/

Goanar Bilyew's 5-Star rated brother Omaha Bilyew was coached at prep school by Rodney Perry. Maybe if he gets hired at MSU we'll see Omaha in the MVC
