Zek has stayed in touch with a couple of his former teammates, and they were aware he was unhappy with his reduced role at URI. He has expressed to his friends here that he is interested in returning to Bradley. Zek is now in the transfer portal, and the coaches are open to a return.

I have heard this as well and hope it happens. He won't replace Hickman but can be a huge asset for Bradley moving forward.

He averaged 12.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and shot 40.7% from three his freshman year at Army, and there were some preseason publications that had him as one of the top newcomers in the MVC this past year. However, an injury in the preseason lead to him redshirting for the 2023-24 season. He would have 3 years of eligibility left. He is originally from Arlington Heights Hersey HS.
Could he end up back in the MVC?

I would have an unbelievable amount of respect for Zek if he had the courage to ask to come back and the maturity to understand that sometimes we chase things and it doesn't turn out the way we wanted.
