Again I say these kids today dont want to be a part of something to help make it great. They want immediate gratification. However I say that in general. There are some kids who value in being part of something

I thought maybe because around 30% of the players in last year's portal never landed at another D1 school that maybe players would be a little more cautious, do their homework, and be sure they can get other D1 offers. But that does not appear to be the case. Must be that imaginary pot of NIL gold that means more to most of them than playing for the coach that recruited them.
Seems like everyone thinks that if they played any amount of time at a mid major, they will be in line for a big pay raise.

After reading all these comments, I hope Bradley can keep their 3 main starters from this year! That's Hannah ( if he chooses), Hickman and Deen! I also hope we keep at least a few good rotational starters/ Bench players! I'm thinking Davis, Atlison, Burch! But we need much more good depth! To risky to only go 7-8 deep! 9-10 deep solid players sound good! Injuries happen and we lucked out this year only losing Connor for abit! But Indiana State lost 2 games when Kent was injured and they paid the price in that loss at home to Illinois State! So let's go Grab a Bunch of very good portal players!!! We could possibly have the edge next year to win the Valley tourney by being the most stable program! I mean it already looks like Indiana St. Will lose their coach. Drake could be next and Tucker goes with his father. Northern Iowa loosing good players. Belmont is losing 2 key players and SIU has just 4 players left and must do a total Rehab!!!! So Though the Valley could be weaker next year, but if that gives Bradley a better chance to Dance, then let's do it!!!! I can't wait to see who we get in portal! I think will be maybe favored next year in a weaker Valley unless a Valley team can pull off a total rebuild like Utah State did and a few others. Will be waiting to see!

I hope we can still say this after our season ends with a celebration at Hinkle.

If they even avg 10-12 ppg or are good ball handlers, there will be some P-6 team that will take as a backup,
Like ISU’s Josiah Strong who bolted for Colorado State so he could average 4ppg behind Isaiah Rivera
