How sweet it would be to have a trio from Milwaukee. You have been committed to BU since Day 1 and can’t express our appreciation for that!

Not sure u even read this site, but we Love u man and not much would make us more excited about next season than you staying in Peoria!

I think u are the key to the Braves being MVC champs once again and your best year in Red and Baby blue is yet to come!

Fwiw u are one of my Favorite 5 Braves since Coach Wardle took over - that’s nearly a decade! Your hard work, perseverance, and loyalty we don’t take for granted…along with your highlight-reel KaBoom Dunks! :)

Looks like LB and I wanted to send out a plea to Darius at the same time, so moving my post over here to keep it all on one thread. Coach, any way to delete the thread I started?
Hope Darius reads this and knows how much we appreciate him!

Posting this to make my plea to my boy, the Doctor of Dunk, King Darius! We love you, Darius and BU is better because of you. Come back and finish your career as a Brave and go down as one of the greats and all-time favorites. We've got some unfinished business and with all the turnover in the conference, if we can bring you and Duke back, the sky is the limit and a conference championship with some NCAA tournament noise is in our future!

BU fans love you, Darius. I hope you stay where you're known and loved and don't opt to go somewhere that they won't appreciate you the way we do after watching you grow and become the stud you are since coming here as a freshman. I can't wait to see what you grow into with your final year!

Holy cow Tommy! What timing huh??

Now we just need King Darius to time it right to decide to stay- maybe sometime today!

Great minds think alike, LB! Def hope we hear some good news on Darius soon! My heart can't take him leaving!

Done. :)

Hoping to hear a decision from Darius today. Bradley is the obvious choice. Darius has the capability of playing professionally somewhere, if he wants to. But his chances of getting a good contract overseas would be greatly improved by staying at Bradley and dominating the MVC and being an MVC DPOY, as opposed to transferring up and being a bench player at a Power Conference school.

Thanks Coach! And yes, the extra year in the same system makes these guys really shine. His stock will be sky high after one more year at BU! Give us the good news soon so we can all party like it's 1999!

Personally, few things in life have motivated me more than when someone told me I wouldn't be successful or couldn't do something. Not so sure that it would be a foregone conclusion that he would be a bench player, and not so sure that if he read that (seems like we are hoping he reads this thread) that that wouldn't fire him up to prove the Bradley faithful wrong.

I believe Darius could find great success elsewhere. I hope it's here and plan on supporting him big time next year if he stays. He's got that fire, that's for sure.

I think my post did it. :) (Actually, thanks to LittleBrave and Tommy for showing DH the love)
Glad to have you back Darius!!!

yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bu for the win in 25, baby!

Wow this is fantastic news! Really the core of the group will only be missing Hickman. Atlason improving next year could be big, and adding a strong 2 guard from the portal should make BU the favorites in the MVC going into next year.

I don't have Twitter but assume Darius announced he is staying. Great news! He has improved so much this past year. Love his monster dunks.

I haven’t seen anything official from DH yet, but it does sound like Home of the Brave is confident he’s coming back. If true, I’m thrilled. Assuming Indiana State does have a coaching change and players following him, we would have to be pretty heavy favorites in the Valley next year.

Is DH staying a definite?
DH hasn’t said anything himself, but the reports are that he’s met with the NIL collective and that they are certain he’s staying. Until I see it from him, I’d take it with a grain of salt, but the person reporting it did have the Duke and Hickman news before it was announced, so he seems to be well connected.

Darius doesn't really do social media, so he might not put any announcement out. But I've heard it from a couple of my best sources.
He actually made the decision a couple days ago. Of course, things could always change.
