Zek Montgomery is Back!

I think Zek needs to be careful in his decision making right now. He left Bradley because he thought he had a better deal someplace else. Then he campaigns to come back. They open the door for him. Now all of a sudden he thinks he has another better deal someplace else. He better think about how Coach Wardle will respond to that

We are now in a recruiting "Dead Period" (see NCAA recruiting calendar below), so there probably won't be much news until April 12.

As a fan I certainly would welcome him back. However l will always wonder if it was just for “the bag”, playing time, position, and if it will affect his dedication to the team. This is not me saying I question his commitment, ability, and dedication. I will just always wonder. He knows how Wardle coaches and that he will be yanked when he goes awry so that shouldn’t be a shock. I just find it odd that he would want to return. It has to be all about the money right? Maybe he did mature and realizes money, a 12-20 record, and not playing for a relevant team is not close to playing championship level basketball with great fan support. I have to use that mindset to understand why he may be returning.

Here are Zek's recent "Likes" on twitter- https://twitter.com/MontgomeryZek/likes
His followers are also mostly BU related.
Hope that's a good sign.

Can't we find out what colleges Zek is thinking to transfer to as well as his interest in Returning to BU?

I would leave it up to the players. If they want to welcome their teammate back, great. If he burned bridges then it's an easy no.

I thought Zek's departure from the Braves last year was a bigger blow than losing anyone else. He had so much upside and was our best athlete - had pro potential - maybe not NBA, but easily overseas.
It's up to Coach Wardle and staff as to whether they would accept a guy who already decided to leave the team, but dang - I would take Zek over any other option out there now...to make us stronger, and a guy who knows the system and is a fan fave.

We’ll take you back as a fan base in a heartbeat!
