Lawsuit: Missouri State

Some of you will remember an incident back in 2018, where multiple players were being treated by the head coach Paul Lusk's training staff and an outside physical therapy practice that was contracted by Missouri State.
They used a controversial method called "whole body cryotherapy". It's controversial because there are medical experts who consider it quack therapy and has no legitimate place in treating people, especially fully healthy athletes. But also it carries risks of potentially causing serious tissue injury due to the extreme cold that is used.

Anyway, of the two players injured severely, one transferred and played elsewhere but one had such severe damage to his feet, that he was never able to fully recover and was left with severe permanent damage, and never played basketball again. There was also an effort to hide the full details of the incident from the public.
Well, you knew it was coming, and the players in question are now suing Missouri State University, Paul Lusk, training staff, the MSU AD Kyle Moats and the contracted therapy practice.
