Word is he has something mono related. Will be a couple of weeks before he’s back.

Nothing official has been announced. As I posted earlier in the thread, he was in street clothes on the bench along with Demarion Burch at the game last night. He looked completely healthy and was in close association with all the other players. So, if he is sick with an infectious illness, the medical team must not believe he is contagious. Hope he recovers quickly.
And regarding Corey Thomas... as noted, he did not play at all last night. A source suggested that the coaches wanting to see what a shorter 8-man rotation looked like. Maybe if the lead was much larger at the end of the game, they might have cleared the bench. But with the lead shrinking, they stayed with some starters and top-8 rotation players to the end. I also suspect the coaches wanted to see how Almar could do guarding inside against opponents' big men for extended minutes, since he has had some limitations defending quicker wing players. That's why, despite fouling out late, he played 29 minutes, a career-high for a 40-minute game.
