the Dayton fans (on their message board), anticipate their coach to make a jump to a P-5 team as soon as the end of the season since a couple of big time programs will be calling, He is a Miami native and a former assistant at University of Florida for a decade.
- they're already listing & discussing Brian Wardle as one of their top choices to replace him. Dayton is currently paying their head coach twice what Bradley's been paying and their Athletic Dept budget is at least twice Bradley's.
That said, I don't like discussing or speculating because we really love our coach and, of course, want him to stay. But if he is successful enough to get a far better offer, who could blame him if he moved on? I wouldn't and I would continue to be a huge fan of his wherever he goes (unless he some day lands at ISU)
Wardle won't be going anywhere until he wins some NCAA tournament games, IMO.
Word is, Jim Les is being considered to replace BW if he leaves BU.
I don't see 0-1 in the NCAA tournament in ten years getting him to Iowa.
Wardle is not ready just like his team tonight wasn’t ready. He said his team isn’t ready to when big games. He isn’t ready to coach them either.
You can't be serious, right? We're 18-4, so let's take it easy on the BW bashing. Until yesterday, we were tied for the least amount of losses in the nation, so I'd say he's done pretty well, and that isn't considering his success as a coach since coming to BU. Even top 20 teams lose in blowouts occasionally, so it happens, and this doesn't diminish the accomplishments of the team thus far through this season.

Lets be real, we haven't really beat anyone of real note to get that great record. Good teams don't lose at home to middle of the pack conference opponents, and especially not mid-majors with a new 1st year coach and 80%+ new roster.
