I thought that for, at least, local games, the BU network was supposed to use the Civic Center cameras (That the Civic Center already has for the replay board and concession TV's) with the WMBD radio feed for audio.sorry mex.....I forgot to ask what kind of impact this would have on the BU network. I would hope this will not limit the number of games offered but at this time I don't know.
I have also talked to someone "in the know", and was told to let the fans know they will be happy with the result of this year's TV deal.
But they just can't release any information on it yet.![]()
I talked with KK at the ISC smoker a little bit about this. He assured me that they have some things in the works to get as many BU games on as possible. Currently they are working with WTVP and he thinks they will pick up a game or two this year. (it's not much but it's a start) He also mentioned that the BU vs. Iowa game will be aired by CSTV. The second game in SPI will not be carried due to CSTV's contract to carry a football game at the same time BU will be playing. He also told me that BU vs. Creighton in March is a MVC network option game on "MVC Wildcard Weekend". If this is the best or most attractive game that weekend in the MVC, which KK thinks it will be, it will also be televised. His goal is to have all BU away games on TV in the near future (won't be this year) and they are still working on this. Hope this helps.....
