PJS 3-30

Quite a bit of stuff in Dave Reynolds' article today.

Good to hear Cellus will play in the Portsmouth tournament. He is not yet listed on their website as a confirmed participant, but that will change.

Dave names 2 Bradley recruits that have been discussed on the board quite a bit, senior Marvell Waithe and junior Carlton Fay. Waither is also being recruited by about 15 Division I schools, including Bradley, Cincinnati, Georgia, Iowa, San Diego, Tulsa and Nevada. He averaged 35 points, 14 rebounds and six assists per game last season for Laurier Collegiate.

Fay has received scholarship offers from Bradley, Southern Illinois, Northern Illinois, Illinois State and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Dave also says this about Jim Les' future-
"BU athletics director Ken Kavanagh said he hasn't yet received any calls from other schools asking permission to interview Les."

The 2006-2007 schedule has 5 games set-
Home games with DePaul, Loyola and Southern Mississippi and road games at Tennessee Tech and a Bracket Buster opponent. Bradley is also considering a tournament for next year.

Also, as announced before-
The Bradley men's basketball postseason banquet has been set for Friday, April 21 at the Civic Center.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth and must be purchased by April 19 through the Chiefs Club office in Haussler Hall (677-2667).
