UIC Game

I went ahead and ordered upper level tix from Ticketmaster, since the BU ticket office told me they may not get tickets for this one, and the UIC office refused to sell me lower levels (even though they are available in abundance).

It is likely there will be tickets available at the door, as their average attendance last season was under 4,000, and the arena holds over 8,000.

I am staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near UIC-

I bought mine last week on ticketmaster and got section 215 in upper part ; I am driving back to peoria after the game; how many others are going?

How hard is it to get UIC?

It is almost literally at the intersection of the major interstates that converge on Chicago. The Pavillon is one block off I-290. Since people will likely be traveling to the game on the Saturday afternoon...the terrible Chicago traffic will likely be busy but manageable. Nothing like navigating rush hour to get up to a Loyola game.

Thanks to our Chicago contingent of fans and the Saturday night date, we should have at least 2-3 thousand people there.

The opening game 2 years ago against DePaul at the Allstate Center had an attendance of 8797 and there was a little less than half Bradley fans.

I will be there with a group of 50+. Has BU announced any official pre-game rally yet? If not, I have a couple of locations in mind that are less than a mile from UIC that would be more than suitable for pre- and postgame activities.

BB, I suggest you email Ken Kavanagh with those suggestions. I expect there will be some pregame event planned, though nothing has been announced yet.

I'll be there, got tickets from ticketmaster. If they have lower bowl seats left at the game can you upgrade at the ticket agent? If not we'll just sneak down.

If lower level tix are available, the only way to upgrade will be to buy a new ticket (at full price), and donate your upper bowl ticket to someone else.

There is a pre game party sponsored by the Bradley University Black Alumni Alliance, which is part of the Alumni Association. the party is open to anybody though, alum, student, friend, or fan!

Not to cut down this party, but Moretti's isn't that close to the UIC Pavilion (actually closer to the United Center), and $50 is pretty steep for a pre-game party that doesn't include an open bar.
