Jim Vershaw was a walk on, 1997-1999, scoring a grand total of 8 career points.
BUT..once a Brave, always a Brave, and I have a little followup to what Jim Is doing.
And it ties into Jim's brother, Mark Vershaw..............
Mark took over as head coach of Monmouth College's Fighting Scots this season.
(I hope the NCAA doesn't exert its influence and go after these guys for their racial and ethnic nickname!)
Anyway, Jim Vershaw is one of the assistant coaches at Monmouth.

Monmouth lost last night at Eastern Illinois University, but they were without one of their senior leaders, Midwest Central's Blaise Rogers.
East Peoria's Tyler Morrow also plays for Monmouth.
