Yes, Coleman will continue to come off the bench. This weekend is so scary, IMO. NIU is relatively unknown under Ricardo Patton...Cal Poly has 3 returning starters from a team that almost made the NCAA tournament...and UMass has an impressive recruiting class coming in with a ton of athletes returning. UNI's quickness (greatly diminished with Ahlegbe and Reed currently out) is going to meet an early test. Should be a great weekend of hoops. Good thing UNI is going to go 10-11 deep right now, b/c they will need it with 3 games in 48 hours.

Good luck Braves this upcoming week! Lots of MVC pride will hopefully be on display!

For all you gamblers out there, Creighton is only a 3 point favorite, which to me is way too close a spread. I think CU will dominate.

DePaul is killing Creighton early, 20-6 with 11 minutes left in the first half. The Jays look TERRIBLE and the Blue Demons look really good with their new players.

You're welcome!

DePaul 29
Creighton 25
Under 4 timeout

Creighton really isn't all that impressive in getting back into the game, but a young, inexperienced DePaul team has had 11 turnovers already (many unforced). Creighton has done a good job of playing their system and it's paying off so far.

Millard had all of those points in a row actually, he went on an 8-0 run himself!

DePaul is up 6 at the half. Creighton pulled even with a couple more steals to tie it at 32, but DePaul broke the press a few times and finished the half strong with the last six.

Creighton is the same scrappy team as always, but have looked their worst when Watts, Hibma and some of the regulars have been out there. Their best stretch, when they got back in the game, was 5 newcomers on the floor including the aforementioned Millard and Kenny Lawson, who is going to be a force inside for years to come. You think you got sick of Anthony Tolliver? This is going to be the same sort of thing.

DePaul's super recruit Mac Koshwal is incredibly talented and moves like a guard even though he's 6'10". DePaul as a whole is much, much quicker than Creighton and if they limit their turnovers in the second half, should win easily. Unlike the team that was very slow paced we saw against Bradley in recent years, this team really pushes it and is fun to watch.

I hate to wish such an early 1 in the L column for someone, but it would be great to finally see someone take Creighton down a notch at home.

Maybe this is the year we rock the Jays!

God knows we've been waiting long enough to put it on them

Creighton leads 49-46 over DePaul at the 12 min officials TO

Northern Illinois leads 8-5 w/ 14 min left to play in 1st half over UNI

Erik Coleman once again does not start

Drake has won 81-63
