Recruits at the game

Does anyone know if we had any visitors last night? What a great night to have some kids there. Unfortunatly it was also a school night and HS basketball was being played. If you heard of anyone please share with us. Thanks

I was also wondering the same thing, who were they and even though we lost it was an incredible atmosphere to have them experience.

I saw JJ Tauai and Marcello Robinson behind the bench, but didn't see anyone who might have been a recruit visiting.

Has JJ had any luck getting on with Peoria's Finest?

I'm pretty sure that JJ is now among Peoria's Finest. I'm almost sure that they announced it at the red/white scrimmage. I could be wrong though.

DA is working for a medical company that sells hips and knees...I don't recall the name though. I would have loved to see a DA three-ball rip through the net with about 2 minutes left in the game last night.

MML, I would have loved to see that too, but then DR couldn't be the star. I'm not sure he would have seen the ball.

I dont think that's very fair to Ruff. Without him we're a much more mediocre team. He's far from an AI or Kobe as for his shot selection and quantity.

This is a little off topic, but has a bit to do with a couple recruits who were at one time linked to BU and discussed here...

A couple kids from Simeon that both went to UW-Milwaukee this year are Tim Flowers and Kevin Johnson. They are having a pretty good opportunity to play, with Flowers even starting most games. Their scoring has dropped off a bit since the early season, and now Flowers is at 7ppg/3rpg, and K. Johnson at 1.4ppg/1.6rpg. I actually think our two freshmen are doing equally well or better...

One other player on the UW-M roster, Torre Johnson, a transfer from Oklahoma State, had a monster game last night vs. UIC, even though UW-M lost.
Torre, who is originally from Juneau, Alaska and went to high school there, scored 30 points in the loss, and is averaging 18.6ppg/8.3rpg.
One other ex-BU recruit at UW-M is Roman Gentry, now a soph, who is scoring 6ppg/1.5rpg.
UW-M's 3 point shooting on the season is an embarrassing 31%, they shoulda tried harder to keep Ryan Thornton!!
