I will say this for everyone that is missing the point with this new team. I watched the game last night as well as the last several of bradley games that I could get. And that warren kid seems to be a great shooter and has a nice long frame on him which is good for blocking a shooters sight. I guess no one noticed that he did a great job on neitzel. He blocked several shots made him force several bad passes, as well as made him force several bad shots due to the shot clock expiring also he had him held for only 7pts. first half. I noticed once warren was sitting no one could stop neitzel and he starting hitting some open shots. Once warren's skills are used properly like michigan state does for neitzel; i.e. coming off screens; warren will be a much better player. he only seems to get shots that he creates. I don't see any plays being run for him. And as for the comment having sam M. start over warren someone has their eyes closed. Don't get me wrong frosh has good skills but is not making a big factor in helping the braves win any games. I noticed that the JC kid played great the 1st half but had only 1 basket the entire 2nd half. So the biggest change in bradleys starting line up should be to start #4 over that #22 kid. Now he is the player that has been in the dark.

Warren seems to have the size, athleticism, game and potential to be "the man".
When he "only" gives a JJ like performance... At least Warren is not in a full sophmore slump..

AW had a look on his face after the game during the handshaking which makes me think he is gonna have a big game next time out. Just a hunch....

Point well said. I like you Calibrave6 you know the game well!

Andrew made it hard on neitzel as he dogged him all night ; good screens were the only way Neitzel could get off a shot; Warren needs to start thinking about trying to score more as I believe he tries to let the seniors get more shots when he should be looking to get himself more as it would take some of the pressure off of Crouch and Ruffin .

Sorry guys.. I liked Maniscalco's defense on Neitzel much better. Warren didnt fight through the screens that MSU set as well as Sam did.imo

100% agree, in the game I saw Neitzel scored a bunch of points early on Warren and was shut down by Sam until the last few minutes of the game. I specificly watched this match up and Sam raced around and through screens the whole game, he never got tired.

I agree completely with these guys. SamM appears to be a much better defender, especially off the ball. One screen and DRuff and AW were off Neitzel, SamM would fight through them with tenacity. Obviously JL noticed this as well, as Sam spent more and more time guarding Neitzel as the game progressed.

I watch very closely on most defensive positions how well Sam M stayed with Nietzel. I was really impressed with his defensive effort and he continues to surprise me as a player. I sure wish he would have made the 3 when we were up 9.......

Sam M is going to go down as a really special player when it is all said and done...
