BU recruit- 2016- Zion Morgan

I have not seen Bradley's name associated with Chicago Kenwood's Zion Morgan's recruiting since the coaching change. I do not believe Bradley is still recruiting him. Morgan has said he will make his college choice "soon". Indiana State's Greg Lansing is reportedly making a strong push for him

a year ago when DR wrote about Zion Morgan being among that group of TOP Chicago recruits that was visiting Bradley - he was considered a top DI target...
but perhaps he has fallen off a bit as now a recent ranking has him in with the 2nd tier kids, many of whom are not going DI

Zion Morgan's Bradley offer came from Geno Ford in Sept, 2014.
I do not believe the offer is still active, and I don't think Coach Wardle has been in touch with him.

He reportedly will decide between DePaul, Western Michigan, Valpo, UMKC, and UIC-

Though some sites like Verbalcommits.com, that pick their info up from other sites, list DePaul as offering, other recruiting sites say DePaul has not officially offered. If they have, they are the only major school listed as offering. All his other offers come from mid-level and lower mid-majors.

Kenwood's Zion Morgan has notified media that he will announce his decision today at 4:30pm at his school...and the school has put out an official release-

there is talk that the new coaching staff at DePaul has not renewed nor confirmed the prior offer - so that might mean he was already down to Western Michigan, Valpo, UMKC, and UIC.
Hard to know for 100% certain but it seems Bradley's been out of the picture for 6 months or so...
UIC now is pretty loaded with guards ahead of him, and WMU somewhat as well - and the coach that's on suspension at UMKC might be enough to bother him and his offer from them only came a week ago- but Valpo is on the rise, doesn't have a shooting guard in the last three recruiting classes (2014-16) so I think that might appeal to him!

Zion Morgan de-committed from Valpo a couple weeks ago and reopened his recruiting. A Bradley assistant coach was at his game last night (Chicago Kenwood vs. Hyde Park), and Morgan scored 31 points in a win, and looked very good.

We have also been connected with Kenwood guard Nick Robinson (class of 2016) and 6'8" forward Manual Patterson (class of 2017).

comes as little surprise...
Former Bradley recruit Zion Morgan...a kid obviously best suited to an extra year of prep school or a mid-major...

was aiming way over his head at UNLV and even tho UNLV had such a short roster they were desperate for anyone who could contribute...
Zion Morgan apparently still wasn't happy...(altho the article does sound like he's possibly being forced out)
Also leaving is starter Jaylen Poyser who averaged 10.4 ppg
I am surprised that another former BU recruit Ben Coupet isn't also leaving - he didn't hardly play at all...never even saw the court in nearly half their games

Former BU recruit Zion Morgan is going the juco route at Wabash Valley College
Zion Morgan ended up taking a redshirt year in 2017-18 after tearing his ACL, and will stay at Wabash Community College for 2018-2019 and become a 2019 juco recruit

Bradley had once pursued him
