Bradley is recruiting Loren Christian Jackson, a 5'7" point guard at Victory Rock Prep in Sarasota, Florida. He is the son of former Chicago Julian, Chicago Boys to Men prep, and IMG Academy head coach Loren Jackson, who also is the founder, director, and head coach at Victory Rock Prep. He was a coach for Walt Lemon at Julian HS, and for Shayok Shayok at Boys to Men and IMG.

Bradley Coach Brian Wardle is still recruiting Loren Christian Jackson, and made a trip to Victory Rock Prep in Bradenton, Florida to watch and visit with him this past week.

As noted here, Bradley was recruiting Jackson as far back as January of 2015, when Geno Ford was coach at Bradley. But it appears Coach Wardle is still recruiting him.

Here is the varsity roster at Victory Rock Prep-

It seems likely that Loren Christian Jackson is a player who is high on Coach Wardle's wish list to sign to a Letter of Intent during the November signing period.

I notice that this coaching staff plays it a lot closer to the vest-
they rarely ever even mention recruiting or where they've been - and I understand it's because that's their goal - to keep things quiet - just like eliminating the ESPN3 coverage ('til the regular season stuff starts) of our exhibitions so nobody - none of the future opponents or anyone can gain any recruiting or scouting advantages.
That being said - I am going to help as much as I can and even when I hear of or learn of something with recruiting or where they've been - I won't post until somone on the coaching staff mentions it ...I think this is common courtesy to our staff if their intent is to keep that stuff confidential.

He is not the first to choose them over Bradley. At least the winters will be nicer in CA.

Yes, Jim Les was recruiting a pretty good player named Larry Anderson in 2008, and he told our coaches he wanted to come to Bradley while on an official visit. But he wanted to go back home and talk to family first, but then decided on Long Beach State instead. He went on to become the Big West Freshman of the Year, and an All Big West player 4 years in a row there, as well as Defensive Player of the Year his senior season (2011-12).
Is that the one you were thinking of? There might have been another recruit we lost to LBSU.

another transfer...
former Bradley recruit, Loren Jackson is leaving Long Beach State...

he's not the only one, his teammate, junior Roschon Prince is also transferring..

This indirectly helps Jim Les & UC-Davis next year as Long Beach looked to be bringing everyone back including injured Gabe Levin...from a fairly strong Big West team..
but now they lose two of their top returnees, Prince was their best rebounder, too.
