Depends on what qualifies as a "name prep school"
....here are the recent BU guys who spent time at a prep school, there's considerably more than some might have thought..

Koch Bar is from a Florida prep school
Davante Cooper is from Orangewood Academy, maybe qualifies as a prep school
Anthony Fields was at QEA but came here from Wake
Jordan Swopshire had been at both Montrose Christian & SportsQuest Academy before BU
Chris Blake was at Air Force Prep but went to juco before coming here
Stefan Zecevic was at Lee Academy
Jalen Crawford was at Impact Prep
Shayok Shayok was at IMG - a pretty well respected 'name' prep school
Dodie Dunson had been at Brewster Prep but came to BU from juco
Saihou Jassey was at Rose Hill Academy
We had a verbal from Michael Ochereobia (Canarias Academy) but he never made it here
and we had a verbal from Xavier Crawford/Mt. Zion Prep but he never made it here

Back in 1982 - Dick Versace had two kids from prestigious Oak Hill Academy on the same roster - Franz Smith and Greg Willie...
but obviously we've never done well with prep school kids..

edit- of all the midwestern prep schools we've recruited kids from - Boys to Men, Decatur Christian, Brehm, Culver, Traders Point, La Lumiere, ABCD Prep, St. John's, etc..
Who would you list as the Top 10 impact kids from those prep schools? I mean the kids who went somewhere in DI and had an impact. If you have trouble naming ten, then shoot for just one or two. Manual's Lawrence Alexander might be the #1 guy as I have trouble thinking of any others - even the ones that were tremendously hyped and labelled "can't miss" and even 5-STAR.

Former BU recruit Carlos Johnson has de-committed from UNLV and apparently will be given his release and will reopen his recruiting.

Probably trying to move up into the 'big' schools.

As desperate as the big schools get for good "big men" at this time of year, that might happen. But I actually doubt it. Carlos Johnson is seriously undersized (6'4"-6'5") for the power forward position at bigger schools, and was thought to be a mid-major recruit when he committed to UNLV. He was rated 2-stars and 3-stars by the various recruiting sites, and his other offers were midmajors like Grand Canyon, UC Santa Barbara, Arkansas State, and a couple Mountain West schools. He is originally from California though, so he'll probably end up at a school out west.

Former Bradley recruit Carlos Johnson, who decommitted from UNLV after their coaching change, now has set up 3 visits-
Boise State April 29
Oregon State May 6
Washington May 13
