Bradley is recruiting 2017 prospect Romelo Burrell, who goes by Melo Burrell. He is a 6'7" junior forward at Chicago Morgan Park HS, and he plays with the Mac Irvin Fire. His only offer so far is from UIC.

now he's 6-7, athletic & talented... and will likely be the centerpiece of the 2017 Morgan Park team - so he might get a lot more attention - but it never hurts if we're getting on him early!

I don't think the past issues would affect the current staff's ability to recruit their kids.

the mere presence of this offer speaks volumes...it means Coach Wardle gets along with everyone - mends fences...

but...not a lot of Mac Irvin kids in the MVC - the exception being those that went with Ron Coleman...but they did not lead to any BU success...
hopefully the handlers just stay out of the way and let the kids decide what's best for them..

One-time Bradley recruit Melo Burrell reclassified to 2018, and remained at Chicago Morgan Park HS. It is not known if Bradley is still recruiting him, though it appears that academic issues kept most schools away. Verbalcommits.com shows that he only had 1 offer (from UIC), despite being listed as a 3-star recruit.
He just committed to John A. Logan Comunity College is Carterville, Illinois.
