Bradley has offered uncommitted 2017 recruit Javon Pickett, a 6'4" guard from Belleville East HS

He is a 3-star recruit who also has offers from Illinois and several other schools-

Pickett had been committed and signed to attend Illinois, but was granted his release when Illinois fired John Groce.

He would be a great fit. He can score from all levels. I don't know how scholarships would work, but he would be a nice piece.

it might also mean one of our players is behind academically and has a only a short time - maybe even a couple months to improve or may not be here in the fall

Seems like a longshot, but we'll see what happens. It must mean one of the guards is possibly leaving, because this team could actually use another big man, and not another guard.

Report that Javon Pickett "has an in-home w/ UWM tonight, an unofficial to SLU Wed & an official visit to Western KY"-

I hope Bradley can get a visit or at least an in-home meeting. As DC mentioned it is probably a long shot. He would be a big addition to the Bradley team and a 4-year recruit.

As we have suspected, it seems one of the guards must either be planning on leaving, or the coaches expect it to happen. Though nothing official has ever been said, I am hearing rumor5 there is one player that most likely seems to fit that de5cription.

This is the type of player Bradley needs to start getting. He's from Illinois and that generates interest in the region he is from. He was recruited by other decent mid majors. This program needs to be built with mainly Illinois players. If it is you will see state wide interest in Bradley basketball. You may not get the players that are of Duke and Kentucky quality, but there is enough available talent to be in contention for the MVC title. Especially now as the league has gotten much weaker with Wichita leaving.

One time 2017 Bradley recruit Javon Pickett re-classifies to a 2018 recruit and commits to Missouri.
He plans to do a year at a prep school, which suggests he probably was not going to qualify this year.

One-time BU recruit Javon Pickett will do a year of prep school at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. He is still committed to Missouri for 2018.
