With a win over MSU on Wed night, we have a very good chance to "Berrah" the Bears in the Thursday play-in round of the tournament. It's looking more and more like the Sycs will be there as well.
 
Someone made a comment the other day that they thought AW would be the next current player to reach the 1000 pt Club.........so I looked up his #'s and Yes AW is on pace with this a lot of games to play yet this season! AW's #'s from last season 2006-2007.....250 and his current #'s to date this season 2007-2008.....295 .....combine the #'s for 545 currently with plenty more to come this year!:cool:

During a commercial break in the BU game, I switched over to the SIU - UNI game, where one of the announcers said when they announced the outcome of the Drake game, the UNI crowd cheered. I think there's more than a few people around the league that hope Drake can keep it going.....that is, until BU visits! ;)
 
But they made it sound like the UNI crowd were big Drake fans and that's why they were cheering.

Baloney....the UNI fans are the same as any fans, they were cheering because by Drake beating Indiana State, then the Panthers would move ahead of them in the standings.
They would have likewise cheered had they heard BU announced as losing...but it sure wouldn't have meant the suddenly became Evansville fans!
