Tonight's weather

Just heard they have extended the snow period until later this evening. Do you think this will affect the amount of people coming to the game tonight?
 
Absolutley, that just means that those of us who brave elements will have to be that much louder and make up for those not in attendence.
 
Because Bradley has a lot of older fans, there is no doubt the attendance will be lower than expected. Many will stay home and listen to Dave, Chuck, and Joe.
 
I will be there with my entourage even if we have to walk,
but there are a few near us who'll probably stay home.
 
The weather could have more of an effect on the game than you might think.....;)

I attended the gameday luncheon (wanted to hear Coach Hinson), but he was not there. In fact, the MSU team was not yet in Peoria. Dave Snell announced that they would be flying into St. Louis and busing up from there. Sounded like they might not have even left Springfield MO as yet.

Wonder what the process is for cancelling a game and rescheduling on a different date? Or maybe we'll have a late start time tonight???
 
I just heard that Missouri State's team plane was diverted to Springfield (Illinois), and was unable to get to Peoria because of the weather today.

They will bus from Springfield, but will not arrive for some time, yet.

Here's hoping everyone, including the Bears get to the game safely.:-D
 
The weather is terrible, I've been walking through it all day between classes and have seen numerous cars slide a bit, so everyone drive safe. I know that the snow will not keep me from coming though.

Advantage Braves! This could be the equalizer to the return of Richards and the small crowd due to weather.
 
I would go...since my Wednesday night club is cancelled....anyone have a ticket? I probably could get one at the door heh? Tornado if I go let me know if there are any empty seats by you :)
 
I work downtown with a pretty good view -- the snow is slowing down A LOT in the last few hours, but it was big flakes for several hours. I'd say we got abotu 3 inches?
