Pretty sad when you win a game and drop from 100 to 101 and CU has the same Valley record with a SOS of 87 are at 52 and the Braves SOS is at 83 come in at 101?

That's what happens when you lose to Wichita St and Northern Iowa at home. Take away just one of those losses, we probably move up about 20 spots (maybe more if you take away WSU). Take away both, and our RPI is probably in the 40's or 50's, in 2nd place by ourselves, and we're still talking at-large. The fact of the matter is, Ruff or no Ruff, we should have NEVER lost those games.

Be nice when the best player in the league is back on the leader board!:mrgreen:I believe the isu game is when DR is back on!

And it would be nice if we start hearing talk anout him getting MVP for the league as the season progresses. I'm sorry, but I would have to throw out crack smoking accusations if someone tries to tell me is not both the best and most valuable player in the league ;-) Does anyone know when the votes are done for that? With the good TV exposure we have down the stretch in the regular season, I would hope he gets some good trumpeting for that by the announces. I hope Parker really works the PR for him.

I don't think Falker or Coleman have played consistently enough to win the POY this year. It looks like it will come down to Ruffin and someone on Drake. A lot will be decided by these last 3 weeks. Maybe I'm wrong, but I have a hard time believing all the voters will be enthused about voting for a kid that averages 6 points a game (Emmenecker) and the fact that Drake played as well without Young will hurt his chances a little.

Yup, I fear those two losses earlier this season are going to come back and bite us big time like the Tennessee Tech loss last season.
