4.3 Seconds- video of end of BU-Drake game

Nice find on Youtube..but you have to give Drake credit, they do more with minimally recruited players and walk ons than a whole lot of teams do with 3 and 4-Star recruits!

For example, not only are Bucky Cox & Adam Emmenecker former walk ons, but Josh Young was a zero star recruit and Drake is the only DI school that appears to have made him an offer.

Just askin....on that screen that got Korver open shouldn't Salley have followed the guy. He made a wave at him but never left his man....luckily JC recovered quickly enough to partially block it. Not being critical of Salley...just wondering?

Wow...after watching again in slow mo....the first screen really was good. It had JC 6-8' feet behind the guy easily. The second screen really wasn't all that much or really needed. By then JC was well behind his man. Salley might have been able to help but that would have left his guy wide open. Great recovery by JC to at least disrupt the shot. Great play by DU also...they had the look...

They had an open look on the block before their timeout, Ruffin got caught on a screen. One day we are going to pay for having our backs to the inbounder. We never face up on the inbound passer. Drake is one of the best in the country in creating a scoring opportunity on inbounding the ball. They got shots and opportunities to win themselves the game.

I think Salley did the right thing if he leaves his man and his man cuts to the rim, that could have lead to a lay up or foul situation. Korver is not the choice on a shot but its a better choice then a pass to the block for a lay up.

I'm really glad you posted that. I didn't get to see the game because I don't get the MVC-Network here in hillbilly hell, thank god I'm moving back to Illinois! So, it was nice getting to see the end to a very exciting game, and an excellent win for our Braves!!
