New Daniel Ruffin Thread - Good Stuff

I want to talk about some good stuff......here it is....

-- Daniel Ruffin is 3rd all time in career assists at BU
-- he is BU's leading assist man this season
-- BU is on track to have three players with more than 100 assists (DR has 123, SM has 97, and JC has 87) since Les, Hawkins, and Trimpe all had >100 in 1986.
-- Saturday is Bradley's 2500th basketball game and BU ranks 26th all time among D-I schools in wins with 1512.
-- Ruffin needs just 2 assists to become just the 2nd player in MVC history to achieve 1100 points and 600 assists. (DR has 598 career assists)
-- Daniel Ruffin has now passed Billy Wright (595) on the career assist list at BU, and now, at 598, he is 3rd behind Jim Les (696) and Anthony Manuel (855)

I wouldn't think that DC would post something like that if it was only speculation...so I will have to assume that to be very good news here...

There were posts flying around about a 3PM court meeting, is anyone poised to give us the info on that? I personally REALLY hope he plays again.

To add to the thread, my favorite Daniel Ruffin moment, was this year when he was subbed in during the ISU game, the student section slowly figuring out that Daniel was coming back into the game, and the steady roar that rose with that realization was something that I will never forget.

Please don't read that much into it. This is just my usual optimistic opinion, coupled with what we have all heard about the case.

Ruffin will not play vs SIU, however will participate in ceremonies. He is practicing with the team but remains suspended.
