Do I want them in or do I want them out?

I want them IN. They represent the Valley and the state of Illinois. If ISU doesn't make it, this would be the first time in how long (?) That the state didn't get a team to the NCAA tournament. Plus, ISU is MVC. The more teams from the MVC that get in, the better the reputation of the conference. Also, even though they are a hated rival, I am also reminded of the few fans who crossed "enemy lines" to say that they wished BU was in 2 years ago when we were on the bubble. It has been nearly a decade since ISU last made the tournament, and they've been a laughing stock of the conference ever since, so it's actually kind of nice to see them playing competitively for once.
 
OUT...ISU played no one out of Conference worth anything. Had they played our schedule, I'd consider it...wait, it's been considered...still OUT!!!
 
I want them in.. Not really certain they are worthy, but its important for the valley. Good luck redbirds!
 
I hope ISU gets in. The more MVC teams in the tournament, the more $ the conference earns and shares with its member schools.

By the way.....on PTI yesterday, Jay Bilas predicted Drake would be playing on the 2nd weekend of the tournament. :)

I don't think they are necessarily the better team. I'll take the full strength Braves on a neutral court.

Yes, I want them in solely for the PR of the Valley. The more in......the better and stronger the Valley looks.
 
Hey Chitown, maybe you are right about ISU not doing as well had they had Bradley's non conference schedule. However, it seems to me, the Birds did a little better playing the same conference schedule as Bradley!

Regardless, I think us Valley guys have to stick together. We had a few Redbirdfan ********************s that cheered against the Braves when they were on their sweet 16 run a few years ago, but most Redbirdfans I know, including myself, were ecstatic to see you guys get in and represent the Valley proudly.
