It depends on the condition of the hand injury. IMO, if there is any doubt, then shut him down as further injury to his hand in the cbi just isnt worth it.
I sat in front of Andrew at the state tour. and he told me that his hand was better and that he would be playing; coach Versace even checked his hand out by grabbing it and Andrew never acted like he was in pain when he was checking it out.
