If we beat OHIO...

Someone PLEASE tell me that we are not getting kicked out of our arena by some high school musical on ice....

tough as it sounds, it's true.
If the arena even thought about breaking the agreement with Disney, it would cost them MILLIONS down the road, as other performances would be hesitant to come to Peoria if they couldn't be assured they have a solid agreement.

At least the BLUE MAN GROUP did us a stupendous favor!!! (potentially)
They scheduled only ONE SHOW and they picked April 1!!
That's an off night for the CBI with the final series being played March 31, April 2, and April 4.
Thanks Blue Guys!

I am not sure Bradley would agree to a guarantee as far away as Bloomington, even if the guarantee has been reduced, which is certainly possible.

Tulsa drew 5300 according to their total, but like Bradley, there is no reason to suspect accuracy in the figure.

Actually, that's really odd that we are. According to the Peoria Civic Center website, there are no events on March 26 (the High School Musical Ice Tour starts the next day), and that's when the semifinals are supposed to be (see the CBI home page). Therefore, we shouldn't have this scheduling mixup, unless the Peoria Civic Center staff really needs at least 20 hours to fix the ice under the basketball court.

From what I understand, they will be "setting up" the night before for the H.S. Musical date.

Believe it OR NOT!

Gotta have the Field House bail us out on this one. Play the game there. If you don't want to stand up, don't go! I can't imagine any team in this tourney coming in to the Field House and winning. Plus I heard TCS and Egolf are lights out at the Field House.:-D

Plus, for the record, and am dead serious, I would volunteer any time needed after the game to help set up for the Crap on Ice Tour.

Matt Salley, too.

I was there and was shocked at how many were there...it was one of Tulsa'a biggest crowds of the season and was by far the loudest crowd they have had all season. I thought sure it was at least 6000 and was surprised when they annonced 5365...it looked like more than that.

its a shame that every game of this tournament couldn't be played in the fieldhouse. that would have been spectacular.

Well.... if we win vs Ohio. And looking at all the scenarios played out. And guessing they would re-seed Utah higher than Valpo.

And then assuming we would have to give up the home game and have to play on the road.

I see 1 scenario where we would play at Utah.
I see 2 at Tulsa.
I see 2 at Houston.
and...
I see 3 at Valpo.

Maybe Valpo would draw more fans for a road game than any of the others, if that helps.

Let's just beat Ohio first and take what they give us after that.

;)

Heheh I try to stand all the time, but I get to feeling guilty and have to sit with the same people every game... So, I've ended up sitting much more. Won't be quiet though.

Didn't sit after upgrading to student section last night though. :)

I got yelled at the one game i was in the nosebleeds for standing the whole game... Then again, I am 6'5" 300lbs, so it is a bit hard to see around me...

I just talked to a guy who I work with who also works as an event coordinator at the Civic Center who said that there should be no problem whatsoever with Bradley playing at the PCC provided it's not on the same day as the Disney thing (which is 28th and 29th). He said it takes them about 2.5 hours to change from ice to basketball, and that they have actually had hockey and basketball events in there on the same day.

So not sure where the idea that Disney will give us a conflict came from. Anyone know what day the 3rd game would be if we beat Ohio?
