Kyle Cassity

Hey board. Long time reader, first time poster. Does anyone know if Bradley is recruiting the Cassity kid out of Pinckneyville? I liked him at the state tournament.

6-6, can shoot it, rebound some. I know he has some mid-major offers and Michigan visited. Thanks.

KC is a very good player.....he seemed to take it to the hole whenever he wanted.....he would make a nice addition!

Report on the Billikens board that St. Louis offered Kyle Cassity a scholarship last night...and had not previously.
Majerus is known to request some kids to agree in advance to redshirt, so nobody knows if the "offer" includes that.

Also....another topic on the St. Louis board says,
that Rick Majerus met with his kids and all agreed that they'd go home for spring break and have some time off and decline the CBI.

Kyle Cassity committed tonight to St. Louis University.

Bradley looked at and liked Cassity, but he was mostly recruited by Southern Illinois, Michigan, Evansville, and St. Louis.

Thanks Da Coach. I heard this on St. Louis radio this weekend. It's tough to get those kids from the St. Louis area away from SIU, SLU, etc. if they recruit them. Can't blame Les for that. I think he will be a decent college player. Same with Cotto.

I know this is an old thread but both Cotto & Cassity were players a lot of folks said we have to go after...in the end - with the open scholarship JL had at that time he landed Taylor Brown...
In hindsight Cotto turned out to be a disaster, and in the end Cassity was a career 4.9 ppg, 2 rpg player with 39% FG accuracy & 32% from 3-pt.

we probably got better production out of Taylor Brown - who did get that last 2008 spring scholarship
