How can you not love this?

Sure its not the NCAA or NIT tourney but its been like a pardon from the governor. After STL, two Bradley greats' careers were over, DOA. But with the reprieve, we've seen our favorites play 5 more games with one on the way!
Who cares if other people don't watch or appreciate these games? Players from 16 schools are happy as well as their true fans. Heck I'd watch em play New Jersey Tech or whoever just to see them play one more time. Just seeing my 3 year old son get up enough courage to finally give his favorite player (Crouch) a high five and get his picture taken with him made this tournament great!
A championship would be a bonus. 22 win season, great! Experience for young players, Awesome!Let's just take it for what its worth, what all Bradley fans want. A chance for one more game.

Like some other posters have said, it beats the hell out of calling it quits at 17-15 and ending the regular season like we did.

It has been a good run and I think that even though some argue about the credibility of the CBI I feel like I'll view the season differently even if we don't win Friday. The last few games of the year, SIU at home and Creighton in STL, left a really bad taste in my mouth and to go out and have the chance to win a title and have another 20-plus win season is a good thing.

Best thing about this for me was to get to watch JC and Ruff play a bit more and to see DC's great turnaround. I pretty much thought he was a goner or deep deep bench player next season.

I agree and was critical of his ability the other day. I didn't see much to change my original comment about him not having natural instinct and basketball knowledge; he was still a defensive liability at times with bad defensive footwork and he still does not react after the shot goes up to get the rebound. He does just stand there flat-footed and gets beat to the ball. BUT I APPLAUD HIS EFFORT!! I'll take someone with heart and effort on my team any day!

I agree that if he gets INTENSIVE "Big Man" attention and training over the summer that he can be an asset for the team in his final year. All I'd ask for is 7 ppg, 7 rpg, 2 blocks pg, and more consistency on defensive. If he can give us that we wuill be VERY good next year! :)

these games are showing signs of goodness for next year...

SM looks better with the ball (He's no Ruff, but he's still lookin good). Not to mention...HE'S A FRESHMEN!!! show me a freshman (not michael beasley) that can be as big of a presence on the court as SM!

DC...as of last night looks like a SOLID big man for next year. Needs to focus on defense this summer and become more consisten. But he played like 25 minutes! that's impressive for a 7'er who hasn't broken double digits for minutes this whole year.

AW...he's playing lights out. Give him an open shot, you might as well count it. I can't WAIT to see him these next 2 years.

TW...he's gonna be all conference next year. Callin' it now. All Conference

and to think...if we ended the season at teh MVC...we would not be thinking so positively about next year.

David Collins is good and will dominate the Valley next year... ;)

That may be taking it a little far T but he is showing some tenacity inside that we haven't had and that is good. Be of help-yes but dominate the MVC may be a stretch. (my motto is don't say it never can happen)

Yeah, you're right. Nobody else can compare to him.

Signed,
Derrick Rose, Kevin Love, OJ Mayo, Jerryd Bayless, Eric Gordon, Blake Griffin and Robbie Hummel

(Sorry, couldn't resist. But I agree that SamMan is a fine young player and will be very special in the next few years.)

Are you ALL RIGHT!! Dominate!!!!!!!!! I have never see you so over come by one good 20 mins of play by a unproven player. Don't get me wrong but I'm glad for the guy and think he can be of help next yr. But he has a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLONG WWWWWWWWWay to go before Dominate happens! For now I will be happy with the same effort Friday. Also lets not leave out the good play of MS and SS last night. Do you need help? I think forone, YOU DO!!!! Go BU!
