Could this affect coverage of BU?

I heard there was a study done which found Tribune subscribers (both in Chicagoland and Peoria) were cancelling due to better online coverage at BradleyFans.com.

:p

I know the Trib doesn't cover every Bradley game, but it does staff maybe three or four of the bigger home games throughout the season. Now that they're no longer delivering here, I wonder if they'll decide not to staff any games themselves and only use stories off the Associated Press wire.

Do they do a regional coverage like the PJ Star does with high school sports?

If a Chicago team was playing in Peoria I think they usually sent someone. This most likely wouldn't change since that reporter is writing for Chicago readers, not Peoria readers. I guess I won't get those phone calls anymore asking if I'd like to get Trib home delivery.

I believe they do, but if they're not distributing to this area anymore, they might be less inclined to staff games here.

They obviously sent someone here when we played UIC, DePaul and Loyola, but I think they also did some of their own stories the last couple seasons for a few of the bigger MVC games, like Creighton and SIU. Not entirely sure, though.
