ESPN story about Fieldhouse....

Why isn't one or why hasn't one been done? Talk about a trip down memory lane for those that like that kind of stuff.

Did BU or would BU contact them about it? I would think we did. Plenty to talk about with the rich history there....Chet, Bird, Oscar...the 6 OT game. Versace, Richardson.....

It would be or would have been great pub for BU during the signing period. I would think Snell or Wessler could put there own story together and submit it to them....don't know how that stuff works but it sure would have been nice to see something make the national stage...I mean how many teams played in an airport hanger?

I just drove by there about 15 minutes ago. It is now officially down, nothing left but rubble on the ground. It almost looks surreal to drive by there and not see it standing.

I was wondering the same thing, Dog. MVC was king back in the day and I'm sure a lot of oldtimers around the country would have fond memories of the place, or least remember Bradley's rich basketball history. As a snowbird I meet fans from different parts of the country who, when we get talking basketball, remember the teams of the 50's and early 60's.

Maybe they'll do this story in the summer when there's only baseball being played. They do a lot of stories like that during the summer to fill the dead sports times.

OR

Maybe they kept driving around Indiana, couldn't find Peoria, and gave up. I really need to see more stories on the Yankees, Red Sox, Patriots, Cowboys, Duke, Knicks, and Lakers. Are there any other teams in sports?
