Yet Another Big Man Transfer is Now Available

If Derrick Caracter came to Bradley... the KW's (Kirk Wessler and Kyle Whelliston types) of the world would be kept plenty busy.

Lots of transfers have some kind of "baggage". We have unexpected room to add a player and if we are going to take a chance, I would be happy to take it on a kid that can dominate from day 1. Caracter would be the best big man in the Valley and that is a risk worth taking.

Hello MM... Let them type away! I say if a player's character can stand up to JL's screening he's good enough for me.;)cc I hope our academic standards takein to consideration JL's record of academic excellence.

You are joking I hope! Baggage, this kid has more baggage than the BU rack can hold! I don't think JL and BU are willing to sell their soul for a kid that has a curved road like this one has! Maybe you would! Did you read the article and what his coach has said about him! (Academically Ineligible, Suspended more than once, Major Thorn in my side, Bad Reputation and to Meny Issues to over come to stay, and needs to move on) Hell, it doesn't sound like the NBA prison system has room for this one. Come on Lakeview this isn't what BU needs to be successfull! There are good kids out there to get and we have good kids on the team now! BU has no room for large baggage on their bus!

All I am saying is if you are going to take a "flyer" or take chance on a kid, it might as well be a guy who you know will make a huge impact. We have room for at least one player he cant be worse then some of the other chances we have taken.

We certainly can do better from a "baggage" stand point but I highly doubt we could get any better player.

Lakeview wants players that fit in the "Bradley Way":

The "Bradley Way" should be clean program, good kids and winning on occassion. It seems we are happy with two out of three to often.

Yet now it sounds like Lakeview is happy with 1 outta 3. (I say 1 outta 3 cause you ain't gonna get Caracter "clean" and he has baggage suggesting he isn't really a "good kid".... but boy - you are gonna win big with him)
