Last chance to bid on BU soccer jerseys

Thanks Da Coach :) I forgot all about this. It's a great cause and I hope our posters will consider a bid. It's really not alot of money -- think of it as giving up a night of drinking to help out a worthy cause.

My bids are in for one red and one white. Hope I get 'em :)
 
curious, did anyone who bid on one get a email saying they won? I forgot about the deadline last night, and I am trying to check to see who won and lost, and they all have been removed from the website. I got one saying i was outbid on one, but I never received one on the other, so I'm assuming I won, but I cant tell. Someone enlighten me please

I had high bid on one white and one red jersey going into last night (each for well under $100) but storms knocked out my power and cable internet so I was screwed. I woke up this morning and saw I had two e-mails saying I was outbid and auction was closed.

However, when I clicked on the red jerseys I saw one red one was left with a closing time of 11 EST. Odd. Unfortunately, this last jersey got bid up over $100. I waited until there was under one minute to go and swooped in with a bid of $155. I got a confirmation e-mail that my bid was received and when I checked back it showed that Braves4Life had high bid and auction was closed. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CONFIRMATION YET THAT I WON! I imagine they need to run the credit card through to make sure it clears and that I'll receive a confirm soon.

My guess Byrd is that if you received e-mails that you were outbid and have no more recent e-mails showing your bid was received, then you are "out-of-luck".

I had bids on several jerseys myself and thanks in part to this board, I got outbid emails on all of them at one point in time! Somehow, I did manage to win just one of my choices and got a confirmation email on Sunday about 2:47 Eastern that I had won.

Imagine if they auctioned off BU Jerseys as I had suggested awhile back!

I got a message right after the auction ended that said "congrats you have won, your card will be charged, etc etc.

I wanted to actually be able to wear my jersey, so I went to bubraves.com and pulled up last years soccer team roster to see the sizes of the guys. Found a guy named JC Reid (#33) who is 6'2" and 180# , just like me, so I bought his. Got it for $50. I read above where people were bidding well over $100? Was there a specific player you just had to have or something? Because it seems there were many jerseys up to the very end that were around $50.

I never got an official confirmation that I won. But I saw today that my bank account was debited for the price I bid for the jersey. Yea! :)
