Do you think the people out east have the same trouble figuring where Bradley is?

Depends on your definition of east, but anything east of New York is wilderness country to a lot of my relatives! :D

From my personal interaction with people I have met from the East Coast - they think parts of Pennsylvania and (all of) Ohio is MidWest.... beyond that, it is (way out) West until (one finds civilization again in) California.

But to answer T's question more directly - IMO, 'Old-Timer's' in the East have heard of Bradley and have some general idea it is located in Illinois. Beyond that, younger people (who of course know everything in the world) have NO clue where Bradley/Peoria is and might be challenged as to what country Illinois is in.
