Steve Bartman offered $25,000 for one autograph

By the way, Moises Alou has been inconsistent in statements to the media whether he would have caught the foul ball that Bartman was involved with.
In March, he told an AP reporter he would not have caught the ball--

They really should get Bartman, Gonzalez, Prior and Baker to sign a photo because it was 3 of those 4 who really lost that game for the Cubs and the one who didnt lose the series for Chicago was Bartman.

They guy is nothing but a scape goat for the terrible defense played by Gonzalez, the complete disaster Prior became in that inning and the terrible decision by Baker to leave Prior in the game.

In my opinion Gonzalez does not get enough of the blame for the lose in game 6.

Houston you are correct that Bartman had nothing to do with the Cubs losing; Alou would not have caught that ball and if I had been in the same seat as he was I would have tried to catch that foul ball.

Here is a nice story regarding Steve Bartman. The guy's life has been a nightmare since his notoriety surrounding the incident in game 6 of the 2003 NLCS series against the Florida Marlins.
Cubs management awarded him with an official 2016 World Series Championship Ring engraved with his name. It happened today in a private ceremony in Tom Ricketts office and was not publicized in advance. Bartman still prefers to remain out of the public eye.

Bartman had shunned all efforts by media to interview him or tell his story. He had never returned to Wrigley Field until today, and has refused all requests for public appearances, including reports that the Cubs offered to host him at a playoff or World Series game last fall, attend the World Series Championship Parade, or honor him at a game by having him throw out a 1st pitch. One report even said he turned down $25,000 just for an autograph-
