USC point guard transfers to southern Miss

Angelo Johnson, a point guard for USC thought that with OJ Mayo leaving for the NBA that he should be awarded the starting point guard spot next year by default. He said-
???I thought that being a freshman and playing behind the number three overall pick, I should have the spot handed to me. I felt like I earned it already.???

When Coach Tim Floyd didn't guarantee him the starting point guard spot, he quit and transferred to Southern Mississippi where he says Coach Larry Eustachy needs a point guard. Maybe Eustachy has already made him some guarantees?

Yeah, but didn't Eustachy promise to open up a can of wup @! on dog's and that didn't happen either.

Larry is a wuss? He is a recovering alcoholic, but he has been named the coach of the year of three different conferences as well as the National Coach of the Year. He led a team to back to back Big 12 titles and an Elite Eight. His schedule last year was a joke, but Larry is one of the best basketball minds in the country.

Larry and Floyd are very good friends. I suspect that the transfer from USC to USM was engineered by Floyd. Johnson said he wanted more time and Floyd could not guarantee it. LE would not have guaranteed more time, but you can bet that USM does not have anyone much, if any, better than Johnson. LE and Floyd are nearly identical coaches and learning the new system will take next to no effort for Angelo.

Larry Eustachy has endeared himself to the Bradley folks with his horribly foul language, and thuggish behavior...read about it, as he filled the Civic Center with filthy rants & challenged one of our fans to a fight and promiosed to punch him out.

Jeez, you guys must have really ticked him off. Usually, he has drinks and parties with the co-eds of the opposing school. :mrgreen:

And that had nothing whatever to do with the harassment (some) BU fans endeared him with for his alcoholism and womanizing.
 
I have actually seen very little of that type of harassment here by Bradley fans. If I am wrong, please point me to where we have attacked his character to any degree as much as has been done everywhere else.
I have seen a lot more personal attacks on him on hundreds of other message boards. And none of it is justification for his behavior when he was here.
