I had to tell you guys this story. A former student of mine, whose parents both work at BU, is attending ISU. I made a bet with her to wear her BU stuff to ISU games. She just sent me a message that she actually wore a BU shirt to give her first speech! Professor got all excited and actually stopped her speech to grill her on her choice of attire! She told him I was raised a BU fan and will alway be one!!

ONCE A BRAVE, ALWAYS A BRAVE!

Boy, that takes a lot of courage! It looks like this girl has a very strong relationship with BU and she certainly can do what makes her happy.

But, part of the fun of college is being proud of your school and building relationships there and making the most out of YOUR college experience. I always felt sorry for my BU classmates that always complained about our team or our school, but always rooted for Illinois, Notre Dame, whoever.

I would encourage my kids to get involved in the school they chose to go to and root for their teams with all they had when they were there. When they were done with school if they moved back home and wanted to follow Bradley GREAT!

JMO, I know if flys in the face of what most would think but hey, that's me.:)
