Great coverage of games this year. 20 regular season games are designated for TV, including 13 on Comcast, 3 on MVC-TV, 2 on ESPNU, 1 on the Big Ten network, and one on WTVP.
In addition, all the games in St. louis will be covered by the MVC-TV network, except the championship game will be on CBS. And there are 2 games late in the season, the Bracketbuster and the final game against Drake that will likely be picked up and shown, also. That means as many as 26 games could be televised this year to local fans.
Also, at least 21 games are scheduled to be available via webcast on BUBraves.tv

Man that really sounds good....I hate it when the road games are not on the tube! Congrats to whoever puts the TV schedule together!:D

By my count, all the Comcast and the ones not on TV (most home games) will be available online. With the national telecasts, those of us not in Peoria, looks like we should be able to see every game this season.

That is awesome, now if they could just sync the radio audio to the video all of us would be set :)

HXB...talked to Dave Snell last week and he said that Coach Stowell will only be doing home games this season with Chuck Buescher taking his place on the road and also sitting in for home games! This is all good but I will miss CB on the tube for his coach's insight to the game(like...that was a good foul because....and other remarks that make you learn more about the game while watching!) I hope that can get someone at least on par to Big Bish to keep it interesting!

i'm glad to see comcast and mediacom are working together again so that those of us in the bloomington-normal area can also see the games. great news.

It's true. Coach Stowell will only be on the radio team for the home games, and Dave will be joined by Coach Buescher for all radio games.
Coach Buescher did a great job as the color guy on the Comcast TV broadcasts with Frank Bussone last year, so that means there will be a new color guy this year. I have heard some of the rumors who it will be, but the announcement will made soon.

Will the Comcast ones be available on DirecTV? What channel will they be on Comcast? I get just about every sports channel in the world. Hell I even have 20 soccer channels.

I better get the Comcast televised games -_-

Guiness - I don't think the Comcast games will be on DirecTV. They are local Comcast games that are distributed via cable only. I'd love if I was wrong. I get DirecTV up here in Chicago, but I don't think they are going to put the Comcast games on nationally on DirecTV.

I have Directv as well, and I noticed that there are Comcast Sports Net channels. Similar to the FSN channels they appear to be regionally based. The closest one to us would be 665 Comcast Sports Net Chicago. I have no idea if these channels are in relation to the local "Comcast" cable but its something mabye worth checking out. I'm almost positive I watched one (or some) of the CBI on one of these stations....

I would ad, on Direct TV that there is also a CSNC channel 666 (oops Satanic!). Therefore there are 2 Comcast Chicago Sports Net channels 665&666.
I am hoping this alternative CSNC 666, would televises Bradley games, while 665 is showing The Hawks/Bulls etc,

It would be nice to think Comcast SportsNet in Chicago will get the Bradley games, but I don't think it is going to happen. Atleast the first game vs. UIC is televised back here on LakeShore TV channel 56.

SF Pete - I would highly recommend getting the $50 season package on BUBraves.tv. The quality was better last year, and hopefully will even more improved this year. To me, $50 is a drop in the bucket to pay if the quality is there.

I was going to shell out the bucks this year but I will check with my local sorts bar to see if they can get the feeds. The owner of the bar is 60 years old, remembers our glory years and has become a Braves fan.

Asking Comcast to get along with DirecTv is like asking ISU students to stop sporting "Buck *******" type shirts and signs

I'm a little surprised they couldn't muscle the Florida game onto ESPN or the Deuce, or muscle the Michigan St game to the U. Especially if the likes of the Iowa St game last year make it.

As far as ESPN goes, have they already settled on the MVC conference games they're showing?

It was announced today that Comcast would be carrying six isu games this season. However, something isn't right with the games they have listed. Their home game against Bradley is not listed, but we know Comcast is scheduled to carry this game. Also, their home game on Dec. 20 against UIC is on the isu list of games, but the Bradley/Milwaukee game is also being carried that same night.

The isu article states that "the ISU games will be available on channel 74 in both the Bloomington-Normal and Peoria markets. These channels are available to all Comcast customers in those areas as part of the "Classic" level of service."

Something's gotta give here.

Maybe WMBD/Channel 31 is trumping Comcast for the coverage of the Bradley/ISU game at ISU - "blacking" it out.

I don't know.
