Bradley plays University of Illinois-Chicago Friday at 7:05 pm at Carver Arena.
The game is televised on Comcast and by BUBraves.tv.
This is the first official game for both schools. They met last year at the UIC Pavilion, and UIC won 84-75.

This game is a White-Out. All fans are encouraged to wear white, and a free white Bradley tee shirt will be given out to every fan.

I know this has been said before; I just don"t get why we are not having a red out instead of a white-out , the only thing I can come up with is that white t-shirts are cheaper then red ones , I will wear my white t-shirt but when we had the red-outs last season they were so much more impressive.

thank god the day is almost here. I live in Peoria and still took a half day off work for this one. I plan on going to gormans for a few cold ones before the game and going to Jimmys for some cold ones to celebrate the hopeful victory afterwards

About the game:

You hate to say that this is a must win game since it is BU"S first game of the season but if this team plans on having any shot at an at large bid they need to win all of their home games period. UIC is no slouch, but you cannot start out with a loss at home and then head to Florida to play a top 20 team; the players hopefully realize the importance of getting off to a good start and winning their games at home because road wins do not come easily.

So it sounds like you've got good gameplan with plenty of beverages involved!!

By the way- set your recorders and DVRs to record the game tonight and watch it again when you get home. BradleyFans.com has become an advertiser on the Comcast broadcasts, so there should be a mention of our website during the broadcasts.

I am always amazed how many die-hard and long-time Bradley fans don't know such a site exists, so we thought we would get some exposure on TV. Maybe we'll see some new signups after the game. :D

Good work Heemy...see you at Gormans

agreed on the "thank god the day IS here"

little revenge from last year...should be a fun game.
Very excited to see what Les does w/ the lineup esp. how much AW plays and how he's doing w/ his foot

let's go braves!

FYI for Chicago residents, according to the UIC website, Lakeshore Public Television (channel 17/56) will carry the Bradley Comcast Television feed (I assume that's a channel available in Chicago).

Thank you Mike, I can't be there but I will be watching, now if the game was being broadcast in hi def it would be nice. Maybe next year when they have no choice.

Unfortunately Local OTA only has to send out a digital signal (which can be low res- 4:3 like 59-1 (My 59), 25-2 and 19-2(CW). Cable is not using the public FCC airwaves, and can continue to broadcast analog.
At some point in the future (5-10 years), it may be cheaper to replace broken cameras and studio equipment with High Def...

Is it a guarantee/100% that comcast 74 will carry this game or is it a tossup like last night. I sure hope they get it right.

What is up with all the so called fans that did not wear their white shirts last night, (that was by far the most amount of people that chose not to participate in the promotion) , the other thing that was kind of troubling was the lack of enthusiasm by the crowd as most of the crowd refused to stand when BU was ahead late in the game. I know some people never get up but usually we have 90% of the fans up cheering during the last 4 minutes of the game and we were lucky to have 30% last night. I just don"t get it as it was our 1st game of the season and it was close down the stretch .
