Sweet. I didn't think they could do it after that terrible 1st half.

2nd half though was awesome. Some good signs, and AW not playing may have been a blessing in disguise. Chris Roberts got more minutes, and he absolutely came alive. Dodie Dunson was the man. He had 20 pts? Geez, didn't expect that after the exhibition games. Theron and Sam finally played to form in the 2nd half too.

Now, let's imagine how we'll do when AW gets back.

Dodie looked real nice.He plays like this, he could make big impact.

Lots to like in that game. Hard to say how good we are going to be this year, but I have a feeling we are going to be very good next year.

Glat to hear on the post game show that Coach Les indicated that he should have called a time out up when up 10 before the UIC run. It could have gotten away from us really easily. I think Les is growing from a coaching perpective and needs to make less mistakes too

A tale of two halves. Neither half was particularly exciting to watch, not much to cheer about until the last 10 minutes or so. Jordan Prosser was in attendance. Pretty good size crowd. White out was a massive failure. Stick with the every game red out. I gotta give the PR people credit, they have left no opportunity unexplored. Games on the court every timeout, ads EVERYWHERE in the Civic Center, all those things to look at in the concourse. It's an assault of the senses, which is what it should be.

Also - Will Egolf - zero minutes. He didn't look happy.

I never heard a status report on Drew's injury. Obviously there is a setback as he didn't even dress. Anybody hear anything?

And why didn't WE play?

Lots to like in the 2nd half I think...disregarding the 9 points in 20 seconds from them we kept a pretty good offensive team to 52 points...that's good defense. And the offense will come around..shots will start falling with more experience and a net gain of probably 10 points when AW comes back to shape...

Anyone in the front student section see the interview during halftime??? Who was that tall guy??

Attendance was 10,034- and there was a lot of students there.
Congratulations to the BU students for a tremendous presence that the game!

Bradley was 3-17 in the first half for 17.6%
They were 12-29 for 41.4% in the second half.
15-46 overall for 32.6%.

Only 6 assists for the game, and only 2 by guards (1 by Sam M., and 1 by Chris Roberts)

I never heard a status report on Drew's injury. Obviously there is a setback as he didn't even dress. Anybody hear anything?

And why didn't WE play?

AW was still feeling some pain in his foot the other day and the staff is not taking any chances. These injuries though healed can hurt for awhile.

On WE, I expect that we will not see much of him early on as well as AT. I think you pretty much saw our rotation and with AW coming back I expect that the chances of seeing WE coming off the bench is even less.

When would have you put him in and better yet who would have he replaced?

Nice win, we still have a lot of areas to improve on, we did seem much better tonight at rebounding and of course shooting ft's. Our 3 pt shooting wasnt great but DD made a huge one when it really counted.

How long though can we go with playing Singh 23 minutes?

Its really to bad Mr Collins falls asleep during games, he really is missing a huge opportunity. Me thinks eventually if his trend of going bye bye during games his minutes will become AT's and or WE. Eventually JL will as last year tire of Collins' act.

I have been hard on BU for not playing defense and rebounding over the last 2 years. Tonight was much, much better. I also, thought they played with more intensity than UIC. I thought most played well. I especially credit Dodie for his defense, Sam Singh for playing tough for many more minutes than he is use to playing. I like how the freshman Brown plays, he could be a sleeper before his time is done.

Again, the officials were calling a very tight game, like MVC refs are known to do. If we could ever get a game called like most major conferences, Collins wouldn't get so many silly fouls.
