This kid is going to be real good down the road.He the best looking athletic kid i have seen at Bu in a long time.
 
The thing that stands out right now with DD is that he is altheletic and basketball smart at the same time....he really never looks out of position on either side of the ball.....now I can see why he is one of the team captains...congrats to DD on a fine 1st game with many more to come! OH yeah....he needs to give FT lessons to the rest of the team!:wink:

That game would've been iced long before had Theron..EDGE..and I forget who else...would've made some more

If above 30% of our 3's start falling our offense could be set...I liked the drive and dish with Edge...it seemed him and DD could almost do it at will..good sign
 
I really like his attitude....when he came off the floor or when JL was talking to him you could tell he was definitely paying attention....
I also liked how he gave his teammated credit for helping with Mayo....
 
I was impressed with Dunson as well. His poise and maturity showed. What I really like is I don't think we have to worry at all about him getting in any trouble off the court.
 
yea, and he can make free throws....in case it wasn't mentioned :D

I think he will become one of the very valuable players down the stretch that can fill in wherever you need him (defense, offense, etc.)
 
Yes, similar, but I think DD is slightly more athletic, and may become a better defensive player.

Chris Roberts game is very similar to Lawrence Wright's, too.

Yes, but DD can also run and jump and doesn't have what I call "heavy feet" like Gillingham had. So, DD has a chance to be much better that Gillingham and he better be if BU has a chance to make any noise.
 
Don't mean to brag but just wanted to give an old "I told you so" :)

But seriously, as I stated when Dunson signed, he will be our best player defensively and his combination of athleticism, strength, IQ, and shooting ability will show on both ends of the floor. He's a great kid with a great game and a great future ahead of him as a Brave and possibly at the professional level.

Agree 100%. Dodie's defensive fundamentals are second to none on this team. He's arguably our best on-ball defender since Eric Roberson. It's been a long time since we had a big, lock-down defender like him. Add to that mistake-free offense, and you've got one of our most valuable players. I can't wait to see what the backcourt looks like when we've got AW and DD together for 35 minutes a game.
 
3 great things about Dodie.

1) as they were setting up for an inbounds play doddie was in the corner and the student section gave him a lil "whooo doddie" In return he gave a fun smirk that was very fun. He's out there having fun and just doing his thing. he doesn't let the game get in his head like some of the other guys

2) defense, defense, defense. I really like how low he gets when he's guarding the PG. He's lock down and I cannot wait to see more of him.

3) did I mention, he can make his free throws?:D
