The 2008-09 Bradley womens basketball team starts play today with a agme against Loyola at 2:05 pm at the ICC Gymnasium.
Loyola returns all 5 starters, and a total of 12 letterwinners from last year. They were just 8-23 last year. Bradley returns 8 letterwinners, including 6 of the top 7 scorers from last year's 12-18 team.

Come out to ICC and support this team. It is the most athletic and best shooting team Coach Paula Buscher has had at Bradley, and they should be a lot of fun to watch.

The game will be broadcast live by WMBD 1470- game time 2:05 pm.
There is no TV, and the women's games won't be available on BUBraves.tv because of the home games being moved to ICC. Several home games will be televised by WTVP.

Yes, I was there. Michelle started and looked good at times. She didn't shoot well in the first half, but made a key three late in the game. She has confidence, and is not hesitant to take a shot, and is fundamentally sound.
 
Man - I was excited for and enjoyed watching Devin's career. I am excited for so many Lady Braves this year... but I am very excited to follow Lund's career.

Great to see Monica played and did she ever - last time I saw her was last Sunday limping out of Carver with a boot on (after their game before the Men's game).

Skye and Sonya with big games as well.

I think Raisa will have better games.
 
Sonya and Monica, and even Raisa, looked best when someone fed them the ball in the post to them. But the pasing was very poor today, and they didn't connect well.
