During all of our time outs, why not ... ... ...

Show highlights of great plays from previous victories on the display atop the scoreboard thereby further involving more fan participation heightening the adrenalin flow of same said fans? Am I alone in believing all of the circus-like activities going on out on the floor in the meantime serve the Bradley Braves' basketball team absolutely no momentum whatsoever?

That's true, but every time-out now is sponsored, which means $ for the Athletic Department. That money helps the team in other ways.

Okay. I simply felt a bit abused by the 'reaching for the lowest common denominator intellectually attitude' all of this shenanigans typically involves. Bradley gets their momentum going and without fail the refs call a foul or their own 'we {knock on wood} need rest' time out every time. With what I am suggesting above, maybe this elimination of our momentum could be reduced to an absolute minimum. Thanks! OH! And DC, why does the team need help 'in other ways' when the whole point of each game is to WIN?

What? Do you really need clarification here? The money raised from promotions goes to the good of all the student athletes at BU...especially the basketball team.

As it stood last game the band was really only playing at 30 second timeouts. To take those away from them to show a video would be silly and would only alienate them.

... so if we could convince the sponsorers to pay the same amount of $ to sponsor a BU highlight... (More fans would purposely watch the boards, expecting additional entertainment)

Someone needs to help with this. So far I can only think of an exceptionally cheezy Avanti's "pass-ta" game (pass of the game)

Been my contention for a long time. If we need goofy promotions that quiet the crowd, or take the crowd out of the game, to raise money for the sports program, Bradley must be hurting.
