Games of Interest 11/18

Yeah.....have a feeling the Valley will be extremely top-heavy this season!

A top-heavy league isn't necessarily a bad thing. In the magical year of 2006, there was a clear separation between the top 6 and bottom 4. Now granted, that year the bottom four's non-con achievements helped solidify the league nationally, but there was still a clear delineation. I don't see the bottom half of the league helping everyone out like they did that year, but I don't necessarily think it's the death knell to have a wide disparity between the top 4-5 teams and bottom. What might be the death knell of the conference are crappy non-con schedules like ISU's this year. Good lord!

Richmond was impressive last night at Syracuse; hopefully we will be close to full strength when we play them wednesday as beating them would prove that we are going the right direction.

I agree....anyone that can go toe to toe w/ the Cuse this year on their floor has to be impressive....The Cuse have some really athletically gifted players...

Richmond's backcourt is VERY strong....I agree that should be a great test for our players...maybe the only true test in this tournament besides shutting down Reggie Hamilton from UMKC.

If I am not mistaken, isn't Richmond missing their leading scorer from a year ago due to injury? Sounds like we'll have our hands full in Fort Myers.
