I'm watching the Wichita State-Georgetown game in the airport, thanks to channelsurfing.net.
Wichita hung close for a while, and they are playing great defense, but they are so offensively challenged that unless they can hold Georgetown from scoring any more, they aren't going to stand much chance.

3 minutes to go in the game, and Wichita has scored only 42 points.
Georgetown leads 48-42.
 
Shots didn't fall today for whatever reason...but the Shox can shoot. If the Shox play with this kind of intensity all year....look out....just sayin. And you better really fight for the boards, cause the Shox won't give ya many.
 
We had company arrive just as it was 9-0 Georgetown, so I turned off the TV.
When I turned it back on and Wichita actually had a chance in the final few minutes, I will say I was impressed that they hung with Georgetown.
But the Valley needs to start winning SOON and beating good teams.
This losing stuff is getting very old!
The Valley's overall record vs. DI's is 22-14, not as good as I'd have liked to see.
 
Mich vs MD 2nd half and MD is leading by 8 and looking good with their version of small ball.

Maryland beat Mich St. 80-62 JL needs to watch this game for his game plan! Maryland is a relative small team with pretty good guards.

That is an understatement. They shot like 30% and consistently got defensive stops to stay in it, but either missed wide open shots or got really unlucky with shots / loose balls, etc. It was frustrating to watch because they had a million chances to respond but failed to. They really shoulda won today but great effort. I don't think they will be as bad as people thought.
