Reminder- the Jim Les radio show is due to be on the air at 8:30 am today, Monday morning on WMBD radio 1470.
 
Jim was in-studio with Dan Diorio and Greg Batton for today's show.
For those who missed it- he talked a little about Will and referred to his inujry as a typical ACL injury, and said that he will be ready to start playing by next summer, and should be ready for next season.
There was discussion about the recent games, and about the upcoming game at Michigan State. There wasn't anything new revealed.
 
JL was so upbeat I felt good, he said this would be abig week. "after a crash course last week with 3 games in three days we will be able to work on some new defence this week" He also said AW will be able to test his progress, the guys will all get together for MSU and NC to see what they will be in for. I came away with a good feeling.

Did you think he would be anything else. Thats just why I respect him. It sure didn't sound like he was ready to call it a season. Never, Never Give Up:!::!: He's not giving up on the Bigs and it sounds like AT will get a chance. Go BU:!:
 
I'll answer-
Yes, he did talk about Anthony Thompson and say he would be part of the rotation at the 5, and that he has been patient waiting for his turn, and will now get a chance.

That is what you need in a leader... We can critique all we want on message boards, but JL has to get these guys ready to play for the rest of the season. I admire JL for that.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor:?:

I am interested to see what AT has to offer. Sometimes 'trial by fire' is the best way to learn. It's going to be sink or swim for AT, and perhaps it might be the best thing for the kid. From what little I saw of him last year in the preseason, I thought he would be our starting center to start this season. Jim has maintained that he's our most talented post player, one of the best he's coached. I can think of no better time to start showing that.
 
Jim Les did say that A.Thompson was going to get some minutes; it is time for Anthony to go out and prove that he deserves to play as Will did when he got the opportunity.

Ha SLB22, I'll tell you how sincere of a guy I am. Saturday after the game and seeing WE get hurt I stopped and had some beers. When I got home my wife said to me, you go to the game and WHY do you come home 1/2 drunk. I said because I ran out money:roll: Truth:lol:
